Each summer, accomplished professional performers, revered instructors, and talented young musicians from the classical world gather in the picturesque mountain town of Aspen, Colorado, for a very special combination of education and performance. Hundreds of students join 120 artist-faculty members and 75 guest artists to present more than 400 events in eight weeks. Students perform, often side by side with professional mentors and their teachers, in multiple orchestras, staged operas, chamber music, recitals, and family events, and have the opportunity to attend or participate in lectures, broadcasts, multimedia events, and galas.
