Job Summary: The Artistic Director is to oversee the education and artistic development of all MYS students in preparation of rehearsals and performances. The Artistic Director is charged with maintaining the standard of excellence among the artistic staff through interaction, evaluation, example, curricula and artistic leadership. The Artistic Director is an ambassador to the greater community of professional musicians, public and private school music teachers, studio teachers and potential students.    The Artistic Director will work with the administrative staff to engage qualified artistic staff to serve as conductors, coaches, sectional leaders and instructors.
