JOB SUMMARY: The Music Director is responsible for the artistic operation and development of the Billings Symphony (the "Symphony"), pursuant to policies established by the Symphony Board of Directors. The Music Director will work in close cooperation with the Symphony Board and the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and within the limits set by the Symphony's annual budget.  The Music Director has the final responsibility for making decisions of an artistic nature, including, but not limited to, the selection of personnel for the orchestra, selection of repertoire, and selection of guest artists and guest conductors. The budget must be approved by the Board.  REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS: The Music Director is responsible and accountable
