Teaching Artist (Independent Contractor)

Summary: Ensemble Arts Philly is seeking passionate and dedicated Teaching Artists to join our School Ensemble Program as independent contractors. Teaching Artists will be contracted to teach classroom studio-specific group lessons during the school day and coach ensembles before and after school, in alignment with the curriculum directed by our School Ensemble Program partner. Essential Functions: Classroom Instruction: Teach group lessons in studios including brass, flutes, single reed instruments (clarinet and saxophone), percussion, high strings, and low strings. Ensemble Coaching: Coach student ensembles before and after school, fostering musical growth and ensemble skills.
