The Executive Director is responsible for the overall administration and operations of the Colorado Springs Youth Symphony Association (CSYSA) and for furthering its mission.  The Executive Director advises the Board of Directors on setting of overall program performance goals and objectives that serve the needs of the Association's constituents and evaluation thereof.  The Executive Director interprets and applies the policies of the Board to the establishment of an operational framework within which the various activities of the Association are carried out.  The Executive Director, in consultation with the Music Director, hires qualified staff and assigns responsibilities to them (as well as to volunteers in that area) and evaluates them.  Responsibilities also include administrative
