The Executive Director is responsible for all non-artistic aspects of the organization and for implementing policies set forth by the Board of Directors. The functional priorities of the Executive Director will be marketing, patron relations (fundraising), venue liaison, and for the infrastructure of the organization, including the database, ticketing, scheduling, and communications (including printed materials, social media, etc.). For all artistic aspects, the Executive Director will work cooperatively with the Artistic Director, whose decisions shall be considered determinative. The BBO operates under a summer-festival model during the second week of August through the first week of September.
