JOB OVERVIEW: The Payroll Specialist serves as the single most important individual in ensuring our employees are compensated correctly, efficiently, and promptly. As the central point of contact between employees and the finance department, this individual will constantly exhibit the highest standards of service and professionalism through a calm and confident demeanor. Reporting to the VP of Finance and CFO and regularly collaborating with the Director of HR and the Controller, the Payroll Specialist daily handles confidential information, including HIPPA and other personal data, and thus must be capable of promptly and properly securing records and conversations with discrete, sensitive, and efficient care.
